We had the misfortune of staying at Palau de Bellavista by URH twice, once in 2015 when it was under Marriott management and again recently. What a disappointment! The first time around, we were impressed with the hotel's quality and service. The room was clean and modern, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was extensive.

Fast forward 9 years, and the hotel has changed management to URH, and it's a completely different story. The room we stayed in was a disappointment, with worn-out furniture, stained carpets, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn't been renovated in decades. The view from our window was a parking lot, which was a far cry from the beautiful ocean views we had enjoyed during our first stay.

To make matters worse, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. When we asked to change rooms, they refused, citing that the hotel was fully booked (despite the fact that we had seen multiple rooms available online). They seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns or providing any sort of solution.

We ended up spending one uncomfortable night and checking out early, vowing never to return to Palau de Bellavista by URH again. Such a shame, as the hotel had so much potential. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Very good hotel with big beds, clean rooms and quiet. Big comfortable bathroom with bath. Free parking and an huge roof terrace with an amazing view of the city. About a 15 minute steep walk from the city centre but if that is a problem for you a taxi only sets you back about 7 euro. Will be back here when we visit Girona.

A very impressive hotel with very helpful staff and excellent facilities. Set on a hill with fantastic views over Girona it's only a 5 minute walk into town, but I'd get a taxi back as it's a steep hill to walk up ? The room was top quality with all amenities provided, even toothbrush and toothpaste if you forget it ?
There was ample secure parking, some inside which was great for the motorcycle. I didn't have breakfast as I was away early but I'm sure it would have been excellent. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Hotel muy tranquilo. Limpio y el personal fantástico. Cenamos y desayunos muy bien. Desayuno bufet muy selecto.
La única pega es que bajamos al centro de compras andando y para subir sufrimos mucho. La cuesta se las trae.

Hotel con muy buena ubicación, limpieza excepcional pero me sorprende que el mini-bar estuviera completamente vacío y la respuesta de la persona de recepción fuera que es así desde el COVID y además de muy mala gana.En general la atención del personal nada agradable , la verdad una pena .

La ubicación es algo a tener presente. Se encuentra cerca del centro pero en el recorrido hasta el centro hay como unos 350 metros de un desnivel importante.
Desayuno de alta calidad y variedad.
Hotel con parking gratuito en zona descubierta.
Personal del hotel excepcional. Creo que es la base de este hotel.
A las habitaciones les falta un poco de mantenimiento.

Hotel perfecto para desconectar en Gerona. Como su nombre dice lo mejor que tiene son las vistas, con una terraza desde la que se ve toda Gerona. Muy buen servicio. Aparcamiento gratuito. Desayuno muy bueno.
Al hotel le falta personalidad, es “prefabricado” Se nota que es un Hotel en el que los materiales y el diseño han sido pensados para sacar el máximo de rendimiento a corto plazo. Y esto se nota en el parquet levantado, las puertas de los armarios que no cierran, mesilla desencajada… una mejor inversión en hubiera dejado un hotel de referencia en la ciudad.

Well located on a hill above Girona. Well situated to walk down into the Old Town.
Beautiful views from the terrace at the front of the hotel at any time of day.
The room was well equipped with an interesting glass mural wall which when in the ensuite, was back-lit.
The hotel is up an incline so beware if walking from the train station.
A good choice for breakfast with a coffee machine
