My husband and I stayed here for two nights. One of the nicest little getaways we have taken in a long time. Harrogate House was absolutely delightful. Ken and Elizabeth are such interesting people on an incredible journey. They are highly qualified to own and operate and B&B and it shows in every element of the experience they provide from esthetically beautifully appointed decor, georgeous bathroom with great shower, inviting bed with high end linens. I haven't even commented on Ken's culinary breakfast talents. Best breakfast EVER. Breakfast parfait contained fresh chocolate mint sprig from their garden. This was flawless experience.

We selected the Harrogate House for our 2 day stay because it is within easy walking distance of the theaters, restaurants, and shops of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Innkeepers Kent and Elisabeth could not have been more welcoming. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, and although at street level, we were never put out by noise. The breakfast menu changed daily and was delicious; our selections were made the day before and were served as promised. Kent's avocado toast was so good!

Harrogate House Inn was the most welcoming B&B experience we’ve ever had. Online there was no availability, but I called Kent directly and he helped us book. He and Elisabeth were so helpful in getting us settled and oriented. We loved our spacious and historic York room with veranda overlooking King street. It was center of town but quiet and tranquil. The king bed was wonderful and the bathroom was modern and well stocked. Breakfast in the amazing garden was delicious and time and choices were offered the day before. Kent’s eggs Benedict are to die for! The best part of Harrogate House is we felt like we were visiting old friends, Kent and Elisabeth are so welcoming! Niagara-on-the-lake is a lovely town to visit and explore Niagara|Falls and the wonderful wineries and next time to see a play or two at Shawfest. We’ll be back!

My husband and I just got home from an amazing 3 days in NOTL and one of the highlights of our trip was The Harrogate House Inn. The hosts, Elizabeth and Kent, were a blessing. Kent, a classically trained chef from the UK, clearly loves what he does. Breakfast was always a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. We can't say enough good things about the Harrogate House Inn. Our room was very clean & comfortable. The great location is just a block or two from the shops. They have thought everything out. We have even booked a return stay in 2025. NOTL is a great little town with many little shops and some good restaurants.

So my husband and I just got home from an amazing three days at Niagara on the lake. One of the highlights without question was our stay at the Harrogate house inn. The hosts, Elizabeth and Kent were indeed a blessing. Kent, a classically trained chef from the UK, clearly loves what he does. Breakfast was always a feast for the eyes as well as the pallet. We cannot say enough good things about Harrogate house in. The location is perfect and convenient. The room was amazing. They indeed have thought out everything and we are already booked for another day in 2025.

The Harrogate House Inn is an absolute gem. It is located only a block away from the main shopping street which includes the Royal George Theatre, and a slightly longer block walk to the Shaw Festival Theatre, along a beautiful residential street. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, but what is most special are the absolutely fabulous and delicious breakfasts served each morning. During our 4-night stay, we never had the same breakfast twice. Kent is a trained chef and it shows. The standout for us was a three-tiered breakfast served as in a Victorian Tea but including savories such as mini egg and cheese bites. The inn is surrounded by gardens with lovely seating for those who choose to eat outdoors, as well as tables indoors. Both Elisabeth and Kent clearly enjoy talking to guests and we wish them all the best in the future. We will no doubt be back.

I genuinely can't say enough good things about our recent experience at Harrogate House. The owners, Ken and Elizabeth, are highly qualified to own/operate a B&B. Experience matters. They both worked/managed very high end hotels in their career journey. In addition, Ken is a chef.
The location is very central. My husband loved that it was across the street from the Irish Pub! The B&B is elegant and very tastefully appointed. The rooms are lovely. Old charm with right modernization in bathroom. Great hot shower! The bed was soooo comfortable adorned with finest linens. The breakfasts were some the best I have enjoyed in yonks. The parfait even hat a chocolate mint sprig from Ken's garden. We decided that we will make our visit annual and stay at Harrogate House.

We stayed this past weekend, first let me say that Kent and Elizabeth were the best hosts! The Harrogate House Inn, was a beautiful place, the rooms were extremely clean, well furnished, and the beds were so comfortable! We enjoyed our time on the patio, the location was the best, so close to the shops, you didn’t have to worry about parking, you could walk everywhere in town. In addition to that the breakfasts were the icing on the cake!! We were served a homemade breakfast every morning, you definitely don’t want to miss those! All in all, we would go back in a heartbeat, I would recommend Harrogate House Inn to anyone visiting Niagara on the Lake!!
