What a magic place Hacienda Buena Vista is!

From the moment we drove down the path to the main house Kate made us feel incredibly welcome.

My family had rented this stunning property for a week to catch up, and it was just perfect for three generations of the family to come together for fantastic meals prepared by Raf, or for us to do our own things if we wanted to relax. There is no shortage of activities to do on the property, or within a short drive, however most of us found ourselves by the pool for a lot of the day, enjoying a few drinks in the afternoon.

The house itself is incredibly well maintained, the rooms were very comfortable, and thankfully for our summer trip all had aircon!

If you book a stay here, you will have a magic time.

Spent a week here on a painting holiday with Flavours holidays in September.
I have enjoyed several destinations with Flavours in Italy and Spain .
This stay was outstanding for the location. Buena Vista is surrounded by amazing countryside, a wonderful old Hacienda with beautiful rooms and gardens, but what makes it extra special is the hospitality.
Delicious home cooked fresh food,
prepared and served by Raf and Kate, who treated us like old friends.
We all enjoyed a very happy time together.

What a special place! We stayed at the Hacienda for 4 days last week to celebrate our son’s birthday with 20 of his friends. The Hacienda is in the most beautiful setting completely surrounded by stunning countryside. It is furnished and decorated to a very high standard throughout, including the bedrooms which are as comfortable as any top hotel and have wonderful views. The many indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for gathering en masse or finding a quiet spot to read a book. We had some of our meals cooked for us, from a formal celebration dinner to paellas and a barbecue. Everything was truly delicious with most of the meat and vegetables coming from the estate and the numerous dietary restrictions generously catered for. Kate and Raf worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect for us but managed to stay relaxed and fun at all times. Without exception we all had a very happy and memorable stay at the Hacienda and are grateful to Kate and Raf for their wonderful hospitality. See you again soon!

We chose Hacienda Buena Vista to host our wedding day, originally to take place in April 2020 but rearranged many times, finally happening in May 2022. 140 of our guests travelled from Ireland and beyond to celebrate. The hacienda was the perfect backdrop to the day - we utilised every inch of it, with each part of the day moving from one stunning space to the next. It has it all - full of character and charm but with all the practicalities to manage a large event with ease. Perhaps, though, the biggest asset is the haciendas owners and hosts. Kate and Raf are personable and proactive in their approach, nothing is too big or small for them to take on. We cannot wait to return - truly a five star experience.

We went as a group of 10 people, originally booked for 2020 but had to delay until June 2022 due to the Covid pandemic. All I can say is that the place was absolutely worth the wait. Spectacular surroundings, incredibly beautiful hacienda, incredibly comfortable rooms and super helpful and accommodating hosts. They even took care of grocery shopping for us to save us the trouble of stocking up on food & drink. We had an amazing time and plan to return in a couple of years!
