This place is amazing! I read the reviews and saw the pictures before deciding to come here and made a great decision! This place is great for spending quality time with your partner, it is very romantic and rustic but beautiful. Cata helped us to settle in and she was very kind from beginning to end. We were there for a night on vacation with another couple but believe me, one night is not enough... I told my husband we need to come back for at least two nights... We stayed at the Armadillo and my husband was so fascinated with it. All four rooms are different and the pictures on their website are accurate.

This is our second time staying. First time in the lavender room and second in the garden room this time. It is always so clean and cozy! We bought our grandparents and they adored the place just like us! I'm not usually someone to go out of my way to leave reviews but being here 2 times in the same year says something! We are looking forward to staying again and maybe renting out the whole place! Pool and hot tub are always clean and the garden areas are pretty!

Quirky eclectic place that was a welcome relief from cookie cutter hotels. We had the lavender suite- large with a living area. I loved the extra space and the outdoor areas. The pool and hot tub were directly outside our room and there was a hammock, plenty of patio space, outdoor fans and a variety of seating in lush private areas. It was quiet and relaxed. The decor was fun flea market- think shabby chic- and very comfortable. Parking is very close.|Cons: I was not a fan of the continental breakfast. 3 sweet pastries, plain yogurt and granola, OJ. I would have liked something more substantial with protein. There were no hangers in the closet which I could have used. Only basic shampoo is provided so plan your toiletries accordingly. We came in at night and even though a map was provided, it was a little difficult to find our way around. No problems in daylight. These were minor things and I thought this was a real find.

Stayed here for a little weekend getaway. It was the perfect size and easy to get to from Dallas. Loved the pastries as well. Nice spot to stay and go to different outdoor activities from. It was also nice to have different utensils and bowls to use for my breakfast since I can’t have dairy. My only recommendations would be to have a water machine or something else because it was hard to try and fit a water bottle under the sink spout, but I used a cup to fill up my water bottle which worked fine as well! Other than that loved our time there and would like to return to explore the area once again! Also really appreciated having a housekeeper come by to tidy up while we were away.

I had just come back from an international trip and had another trip coming soon, so I didn't have any specific plans for the day of my birthday. |Days prior to my 52nd birthday, I was hanging out with two of my best friends and decided on a 24-hour trip to celebrate. Without giving it much thought, we booked Casa del Sol which which is an hour and 45 minutes drive from home. |We packed our swimsuits, a cooler, some snacks, and a ton of emotional baggage and drove there without knowing it was going to be such a wonderful experience.|Upon entering Casa del Sol, I completely forgot I had had a discussion with my husband as I was leaving the house. The peaceful energy and greeney of this b&b surrounded me, and I left all the worries at the door. As I leared later, so did my friends.|We stayed at the Lavander Suite, which is just adorable. It has a dining/TV room with a separate bedroom that had a dreamy, comfortable bed with the whitest and softest sheets.|The TV room has a sofa that was super comfortable, according to my friend who slept on it |The closet in the dining room area was stocked with everything you need, including a microwave, coffee and coffee maker, and utensils. The mini fridge had orange jucie, granola, half and half, and yogurt for the next day's breakfast, and the dining room table had fresh pastries, including slices of a cinnamon babka that was to die for.|We met Favio, who is the sweetest garden/suite keeper ever, and Cata, the owner who has the most beautiful spirit.|This bed and breakfast reflects the love and patience that has been poured into it by both of them.|We also really enjoyed the pool /hot tub area. You can tell that Favio does an amazing job keeping the pool and the hit tub water extra clean.|This place was perfect to have long conversations and unwind.|I will definitely be back with my hubby (now that we have reconciled...lol) and my Gordita (my pug daughter) since Casa del Sol is dog friendly. I'm sure they will love it as much as my friends and I did.|This is the perfect place to disconnect from daily life, rest and renew your spirit.|
